Fabio Latini, 4th Degree Black Belt by the USFBJJ, under Gracie Tijuca/Humaita, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1966.

College Degree in Physical Education at Rio de Janeiro Federal University (U.F.R.J) with Master Degree in Russian State Institute of Physical Education, in Moscow, in 1995.

38 years experienced in BJJ, former Royler Gracie`s and Gracie Humaitá/ Tijuca JIU JITSU & MMA coach for strength and conditioning.

Bronze medal (3rd place) at the 2023 IBJJF WORLD MASTERS CHAMPIONSHIP, Las Vegas, USA.

In his journey Fabio was taught by several members of the world famous Gracie Family , such as Royler Gracie, Rickson Gracie, Relson Gracie and Renzo Gracie. He also learned from Grand Master Francisco Mansour, from Kioto ; Gracie Tijuca`s leader, professor Vinicius Aieta and UFC legend and long time friend Joe Moreira.

Latini has been a Gym owner since 1988, with vast experience training MMA athletes for the most important events in Brazil, Japan, United States and Hawaii.

​

Joined GRACIE TERRA TEAM at it's very beginning, in 2016 and since then a partnership with Vitor Terra was started.

​

After that, Fabio opened his own school, LATINI JIU JITSU, in 2017. 

​

Moved to Portugal in 2018 where he teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in Cascais as a representative of the Gracie Terra Team in Europe.

​

EUROPE Representative for CERVICAL KIMONOS and KORE KIMONOS, since 2018.

​

Founder of THE OLD SCHOOL BJJ ASSOCIATION in 2019.

​

In 2020, Latini became the Tecnical Director of the Portuguese Jiu Jitsu Federation (Federação de Jiu Jitsu de Portugal).
